We’re going to be busy, busy, busy! We’ll be playing two rousing fun dances, one Irish and one Scottish this weekend as we morph into Croí na Céilí (kree-na-kay-lee) band.
First off, it is our great honor privilege to play behind the master himself, All-Ireland and All-England Champion Fiddler Eamon Coyne who will perform a concert and then convene the Irish céilí starting at 7:00pm on Friday, March 28, at the Elks Club, 265 NE 4th Avenue, Delray Beach. You can buy advance tix for $15 by calling 561 251-6147 or simply show at the door with $20 to join the fun.
Then, we reassemble to play for the kilted clans and all comers with our favorite Scottish dance caller, the lovely Rinthy Aman, for a proper, fun-worthy ceilidh at 6:30pm on Saturday, March, 29, at Lakeside Presbyterian Church, 4601 South Flagler Drive, in West Palm Beach. For $5 at the door, you’ll dance and swing to some great traditional Scottish circle dances while the band kicks it up a notch. Bring a snack to share; wear a kilt if you dare!
