May marks the beginning of summer and the Celtic festival of Beltane when rituals were held to protect crops, livestock, people and to encourage growth.  The Roaring Kelly Band celebrates the month of May with a kicking performance on Sunday, May 4, at 7pm in Tim Finnegan’s Irish Pub, Delray Beach. We won’t be lighting bonfires or decorating thorn bushes but we will play ferocious, high stepping tunes and sing defiant rebel songs and ballads to mark the season.  With toothsome delights from the kitchen, thirst-quenching libations from the bar and a dance floor open to all step and set dancers who jump the floorboards, we’ll have enough celebrating to summon a merry summer for all!
