The Roaring Kelly Band delivers a double-dose of Irish Spring fever this weekend at the Delray Beach Green Market, Saturday at 11am , and at O’Connor’s Pub in Delray Beach, Sunday, for Happy Hour fun at 4pm.

What’s the Irish spring? We’re not talking soap here but music and the season. If we step back from the modern calendar that uses astronomical guides of equinoxes and solstices, spring for ancient Celtic calendar begins on St. Brigid’s Day in between the astronomical winter solstice and spring equinox. That’s the ancient Celtic spring but we’re not doing that! The Roaring Kelly Band is jumping right into modern times basically because it suits us as a good enough reason to celebrate. We perform Irish music whenever spring begins with the mix of rancor and rambunction we enjoy.
