For those fans, friends, fellow artists and family who follow the Roaring Kelly Band, please come and support our young artist Evan Powell for his special performance of solo piano tunes from his award winning competition at the Mid-Atlantic Fleadh Cheoil. This Regional Fleadh Cheoil music competition, held in Parsippany, New Jersey, served as the final step prior to the All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil where musicians compete for the Irish national title!  Evan won first place in three categories: Solo Piano, Piano Accompaniment, and Newly Composed Dance. Evan’s next competition performance will be in Sligo, Ireland, this August for the All-Ireland Fleadh Cheoil!

The special solo piano performance will be followed by a rousing trad music seisiún with members of the Roaring Kelly Band on hand to sit in and play all the reels, jigs, slides, polkas and hornpipes we can possible summon.  Come on down Sunday afternoon to treat yourself and your friends to an Irish music celebration.  See you there!
